Pulverized coal burners are designed to send pulverized coal and air mixed flow into the furnace in a favorable manner, creating a favorable aerodynamic field, ensuring timely ignition, strong combustion, clean combustion, and good burnout of the pulverized coal flow. Pulverized coal burners are divided into two types: direct flow burners and swirl burners.

Characteristics of once-through pulverized coal burner:

◆ Non rotating, small jet expansion angle, small entrainment capacity, poor ignition performance of a single burner, and poor furnace fullness;

◆ The jet has slow attenuation, long range, and good mixing in the later stage, which is conducive to the burnout of pulverized coal;

◆ Adopt four corner tangential arrangement, ignite each other, ignite well, and mix strongly.

Characteristics of swirl burner:

◆ When pulverized coal airflow or hot air passes through the hydrocyclone, it rotates and forms a rotating jet after being ejected from the nozzle;

◆ The use of rotating jets can form a high-temperature flue gas reflux zone conducive to ignition and strongly mix the air flow.
